[this is certainly to be identified with the rector of St. George's in the East, London, and fellow of Brasenose College, Oxford, who lived from circa 1760 to 1841]; white and silver label on rear paste-down: William Salloch, Pines Bridge Road, Ossining, New York [Salloch, 1906-1990, with his wife Marianne, specialized in selling medieval and Renaissance books and manuscripts]; Latin marginalia, underlining, manicules, and other marks of reading in several hands throughout, in both red and black ink, dating from the 16th to 19th centuries; notes in pencil (in Salloch's hand?) regarding missing leaves; fives sheets of paper, mostly marking missing leaves, with notes (in Salloch's hand?) found in item and now available in MS 466; bookseller's description pasted to sheet of paper and stamped on verso with Salloch's name and address, found in item and now available in MS 466 box 1 folder 63.
