Note: | On verso, and continued on recto, is a letter of 24 [January?] 1862, from Lebanon, Kentucky, from one Peter [Givins? Gwinne?] to his father. He states, "I found his paper in Zollicoffer's camp." It was probably printed in Lebanon. G.B. Crittenden, son of the Unionst Army, was bady defeated by the Northerners at Mill Springs (Logan's Crossroads), resigned his commission, re-enlisted, and served through the remainder of the war without rank.
