Biographical Sketch: |
Charles E. Cleland is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Anthropology, and a Curator Emeritus of Great Lakes Archaeology and Ethnology at Michigan State University. He earned a B.A. in Biology from Denison University in Granville, Ohio (1958), a M.S. in Zoology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (1960), a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan (1964), and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan (1966). He began his career at Michigan State University in 1966, and retired in 2000. |
