Summary:
The records of Alpha Phi Omega consist of meeting minutes, newsletters, and newspaper clippings spanning from 1937 through 2005. The collection also contains nineteen scrapbooks of various dates between 1949 and 2005. There are two copies of a booklet entitled The Campus Beautiful, which contains sketches and brief descriptions and histories of Michigan State University buildings. Also included are over sized certificates from Michigan Governor John Engler, the State of Michigan, and the Cub Scouts. Finally there is a framed Alpha Phi Omega charter certificate.

Biographical Sketch:
Alpha Phi Omega is an international co-ed service fraternity. The Michigan State Chapter, Beta Beta, was founded on April 24, 1937. Its mission is to prepare campus and community leaders through service and strive to develop leadership, promote friendship, and provide service to humanity. The fraternity motto is "be a leader, be a friend, be of service."
