|a This report from the Sylvan High School in Atlanta (Georgia) provides information on student achievement for the 1986-87 school year. The narrative presents 20 findings concerning enrollment, attendance, reading achievement, math achievement, and achievement in other subject areas. Conclusions and recommendations generated from these findings are the following: (1) performance on most of the student achievement indicators remained comparable to systemwide levels; (2) the few indicators that were below expectation were math scores on the basic skills test and ninth-grade social studies scores; and (3) recommendations are lacking since this school became a middle school organization in the 1987-88 school year.
