Richard Wright : native son, author, and activist.

Follows Wright's arduous path from sharecropper to literary giant. In 1937 his work began to garner national attention for its political and social commentary. Becoming disgruntled with America's treatment of its black citizens, he became an expatriate in Paris, France.
