Summary:
Poster announces an exhibition held October-December 1996 at the Michigan State University Libraries. A portrait photograph of Ahmed Kathadra appears, next to a quote excerpted from Invictus, an 1875 poem by William Ernest Henley. The background is a photocopy of a handwritten letter signed by Ahmed Kathadra on 30 September 1967, starting with: "My dear Boetie, I am sorry for the delay in writing." The letter appears in white against a black background, and bears a September 1967 stamp of the Censor Office of the Robben Island prison.
