Biographical Sketch:
Nina Wayne was born September 18, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. She is a dancer, ice skater, and an American actress. She was married to John Drew Barrymore and they had a daughter named Jessica Barrymore. She later married David Wheeler and they were married until his death in 2001. They had two children. Nina Wayne is the younger sister of actress Carol Wayne. She started working in television in 1965. She first appeared 12 episodes of the series Camp Runamuck and in an episode of Bewitched. The first movie in her career that she appeared in was in Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round (1966) with James Coburn and an uncredited Harrison Ford in his film debut. Wayne's big movie break came when she starred opposite Jack Lemmon and Peter Falk in the romantic comedy Luv (1967). She followed this up with an appearance in The Comic (1969) with Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney. Her last appearance as an actress was in on the 1972 TV crime drama The Night Strangler.
