Description
Summary:
Sex, lies, and videotape-a character-driven drama-is a nuanced, beautifully controlled examination of how a quartet of people is defined by their erotic impulses and inhibitions. Baton Rouge belle Ann is a repressed cheerleader who is now a repressed wife. Her husband John is a dimpled, haberdashing bayou tomcat, partner in a fancy law firm. Ann's caustic sister Cynthia, a punky bartender in cowgirl boots, is getting even with her prettier, more popular sister. All three are upset by the arrival of Graham, an old fraternity brother of John's whose "personal project" becomes the catalyst for these four to face their inner demons and reevaluate their relationships.
