Claire McCaskill speaks of Joe Biden's work for middle class families and praises Jill Biden's values for higher education. Jill Biden talks about her husband and his mother. She says, "Joe Biden is a man who loves his country, loves his family, and who gets things done." Joe Biden thanks his wife and his sister for their aid in the campaign. He also thanks McCaskill for all her work in the campaign and praises her accomplishments in the Senate so early on. Biden then discusses Republican Presidential candidate John McCain (R-AZ) and his similarities to President George W. Bush. Biden says that McCain isn't the "maverick" he calls himself, he's a "sidekick."
