Sabo, a member of the 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, was killed in action on May 10, 1970 in what was later known as the "Mother's Day Ambush" in Se San, Cambodia. An unidentified military aide reads the official Congressional citation as the President presents the medal to Sabo's widow. U.S. Army Major General Chaplain Donald L.
