Jesse Gonzales talks about his family, moving to Albion, Michigan from Texas, and graduating from MSU in 1971 with a major in History and a minor in Journalism. He discusses his student activism and making a career out of helping Chicanos in Michigan. Gonzales explains how his collection of papers, photos and art was complied. Gonzales and Rivera are interviewed by graduate students Ben Detmer, Annie Rantsford, Stacy Flaherty, and Kira Glass.
