|a Michigan State University sophomore Dave Cole talks about his Jewish home and family in Grand Blanc, Michigan, the ethnic makeup of his high school, and the cliques that he navigated. Cole talks about the rigorous curriculum at his school but never really learning how to study and the impact that had at MSU. He describes adapting to college life, multiple distractions, and tells of a particularly drunken acquaintance's behavior one night. Cole predicts in ten years he will be using a degree in public affairs management for public relations or as an economic analyst; will be married with children, and living in New Mexico, which he believes will boom much like Arizona. He recommends living on campus, meeting lots of people, and getting involved with campus activities.
