Chris Bolton journeys to a remote island to unravel the mysterious death of his father, an archaeologist. A researcher takes him to the site where his father died--an ancient crypt that contains an unopened tomb from the 13th century. On it, an eerie inscription warns that it remains undisturbed for the sake of the dead and the welfare of the living. Unfortunately, Chris' father was crushed beneath it and it now must be moved to recover his body. At Chris's insistence, and despite the dire warnings, the tomb is unsealed and Hannah, Queen of the vampires, rises from 600 years of sleep, to gorge herself on the blood of her victims.
