Summary:
Westward ho: While searching for the brother he has been separated from since childhood, John Wayne forms a vigilante group to catch a vicious band of outlaws. On the trail of the bandits, Wayne come face-to-face with his biggest fear: the brother he has been trying to find is the leader of the gang.
The fighting Kentuckian: The Duke leads a regiment of Kentucky riflemen through a French settlement, falls in love with a general's lovely daughter, and locks horns with a rival suitor who has a nefarious land-grabbing scheme up his sleeve. The courtship battle escalates into a full-scale frontier war.
Note:Originally produced as motion pictures in 1935 (Westward ho) and 1949 (The fighting Kentuckian).
