They are in front of a house with a few trees in the background. On the verso is a canceled stamp dated "4 pm 1912 Detroit MI" and a note in pencil signed "Rex," mailing address Addison, Mich. with ink annotation: "Rex in dress, Nelson Omans on post." The second is an original black and white photograph of a man wearing a fur coat, gloves, a scarf, and pumps, leaning against a tree with a sign stating "Christmas Celebration." In the back ground are a road and a couple farm buildings.
