Summary:
Le Moyne Snyder (born in 1898) reminisces about growing up on the campus of Michigan Agricultural College in East Lansing, MI, where his father was the college president. Snyder recalls what the grounds looked like during his childhood, the 1918 flu epidemic, and how, as a prank, some students put a cow into the Women's Building parlor. He recounts the semi-centennial of the College in 1955 and other celebrations. Snyder also discusses how East Lansing came to exist, President Theodore Roosevelt's visit to the College in 1907, and a family trip in 1909 that included Yellowstone National Park before motor vehicles were allowed in the park.
