Description
Summary:
Sara's zine is a supplement to a presentation given to a feminist philosophy class. It contains bulleted lists of ways to practice self-care as a rape victim, help other rape victims, and disrupt rape culture. It includes resources and contact information for services for victims of rape. Services listed for Grand Valley State University are struck from the text, with an addendum on the psychic toll of reporting one's rapist. Sara explains that after the zine's completion for class, Sara's rapist was found guilty by GVSU of violating student code and punished with a writing assignment and a probation, but Sara was never followed up with and "the whole thing ... sucked really, really hard."
