Student participants are Bob Ross, a graduate student from the University of Chicago; Gloria Ferris, a graduate student at the University of Chicago; Danny Boggs, from the University of Chicago Law School; and Jim Turner, a graduate student from Northwestern University. The three university presidents are S.I. Hayakawa, of San Francisco State University, Robben Fleming, of the University of Michigan, and Morris B. Abram, of Brandeis University. Topics include how much input students should have in how universities are run, racial equality on university campuses, and violent and non-violent protests. CBS correspondent Eric Sevareid recaps the discussions says that violence on a college campus is not only anti-establishment, it is anti-intellectual.
