Description
Summary:
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs -- light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message -- and turn it into an output -- activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board. This kit comes with the book Make: Learning Electronics with Arduino to help beginners learn electronics in a fun and informative way. Learn how to use a multimeter, read and follow schematics, set up electronic components, work with analog and digital inputs and outputs, understand programming concepts such as loops and variables, program an Arduino to respond to sensors and control devices, and experiment with circuits and learn how to build your own projects. Kit put together by Michigan State University Libraries Makerspace.
Note:Includes book titled: Make : learn electronics with Arduino / Jody Culkin and Eric Hagan. Make Media, 2017. 372 pages : color illustrations ; 24 cm.
