| Note: | Authorship of text commonly ascribed to Phillips. Pages [503]-536, with sectional title page: "Description of the plates, representing the itinerant traders of London in their ordinary costume; with notices of the remarkable places given in the background." These illustrate the so-called 'cries' of merchants of various products and services, and may also have been issued separately. Each individual is shown against a particular building, e.g. 'Hair Brooms' is in front of Shoreditch Church. Some are signed by William Marshall Craig. Appendix contains lists of the churches, public buildings, public halls and companies, public institutions, hospitals, courts, etc. Engravings by John Pass, Cooke, Reeve, James Newton, James Fittler, Thompson, S.
