A dark comedy which retells the story of Little Red Riding Hood set against a modern background of prostitution, drugs and serial killers. Vanessa is an illiterate teenage girl living south of Los Angeles; when her mother is arrested, Vanessa heads out for her grandmother's house in Stockton.
