In this installment of "What's doing in Western Michigan," Dr. Willis Dunbar reports on a variety of news stories from around the region. Dunbar lists the various school elections taking place around Western Michigan leading up to the various school board elections on June 13th. He recognizes the 70th anniversary of the Stanton Clipper Herald and details the damage caused by two large fires in Vicksburg. Harry Travis provides the lighter side of the news with stories such as how a bull wandered the town of Sturgis, entering a beauty parlor before being cornered near city hall and recovered by its owner.
