The story of Minik Wallace, a Polar Eskimo from northwestern Greeland taken to New York in 1897 by Robert Peary. Twelve years later he returned to Greenland and relearned his native language and skills. He also worked as interpreter and guide for Donald MacMillan's Crocker Land Expedition.
