Hudson's Bay Company. (Red River Settlement.) : Return to an address of the Honourable the House of Commons, dated 9 February, 1849. Copies of any memorials presented to the Colonial Office by inhabitants of the Red River Settlement, complaining of the government of Hudson's Bay Company; of the instructions given to the Governor-General of Canada for investigation of those complaints; of the reports of the officers appointed by Lord Elgin, or by the Colonial Office, for the purpose of such investigation; and of any correspondence which has passed between the Colonial Office and the Hudson's Bay Company, and the inhabitants of the Red River Settlement respectively, upon the subject of the above memorial.
