Ownership and Custodial History:
Inscription of former owner on front paste-downs of both volumes: "Wm. H. Woglom, Feb. 12, 1926." Woglom (1879-1953) was an important contributor to cancer research. Bookplates affixed to front paste-downs of both volumes from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Library, with ink stamps showing that the books were withdrawn from the library on Nov. 14, 1974. Spines display previous library's call number.
