Biographical Sketch:
The Michigan Agricultural College Oratorical Association was a student group formed in 1887 whose Executive Board was made of representatives from all the literary societies at M.A.C. The group held yearly contests between members of M.A.C.'s various literary societies. The contests included women's literary societies from 1899 until 1908. In 1897, the Oratorical Society joined with other colleges to make the Michigan Oratorical League of which M.A.C. was a member until 1914.
