520 |a In order for vocational education programs to meet the needs of youth and industry in our constantly changing society, curriculum, personnel, instruction, and methods must be continuously evaluated. Evaluation must lead to continuous program improvement, and direct the objectives of future training programs. Evaluation criteria to measure various aspects of the vocational program, procedures and responsibilities are listed, presented in an organizational chart, and in tabular form. The document contains a Program Analysis Questionnaire and instructions for administering and tabulating the questionnaire. The four major sections of the questionnaire are Administration and Guidance, Curriculum, Physical Facilities, and Instruction. The three-dimensions of the evaluation program are: (1) self-analysis by the local school administration and vocational-technical school staff, (2) analysis by an evaluation team, and (3) analysis by representatives of industry.
