This report contains data and descriptive analyses of social and economic characteristics of students in nursery schools through higher education. The figures are based on the Current Population Survey conducted in October 1975. Changes in school enrollment patterns for students attending nursery school through college by socioeconomic characteristics such as age, race, sex, and Spanish origin are presented in 12 figures and tables. Descriptive analyses are based on the following tables of statistical data: (1) school enrollment of the population three to 34 years old by level and control of school and race, October 1965 to October 1975; (2) school enrollment of the population three to 34 years old by age and sex, October 1965 to October 1975; (3) college enrollment of the population 14 to 34 years old by sex and race, October 1965 to October 1975; (4) college enrollment of the population 16 years old and over by age and sex, October 1970 to October 1975; (5) undergraduate enrollment by age, sex, and full-time status for undergraduates and two-year colleges, 1970-1975; and (6) enrollment of the population three to 34 years old, by age, sex, race, Spanish origin, and selected educational characteristics, October 1975.
