The majority of this IME issue is devoted to reviews of recent research reports from the project for the Study of Mathematically Precocious Youth (SMPY) at Johns Hopkins University. An overview is provided of the book "Intellectual Talent: Research and Development", edited by Keating. Nine studies reported in the book are then abstracted and critiqued.
