Suggestions follow for approaching the volunteer market, finding and making contact with a place/organization to volunteer, and developing a realistic and career-oriented approach to volunteering. Guidelines are provided for including volunteer experiences or skills on a job application or resume. Accessibility and accommodation considerations are also discussed.
