Description
Summary:
This report documents findings from a qualitative investigation conducted by the Center for Children and Technology (CCT), a multi-year study of the impact of the JASON project on students and teachers. Focus group interviews were used to ascertain how teachers use the JASON curriculum with different groups of students and to explore teachers' use and the impact of the JASON multimedia science curriculum, and the benefits and challenges of being a practitioner in the JASON multimedia environment. CCT researchers examined the ways that participating teachers thought the JASON multimedia science curriculum could be improved to provide greater access to a more diverse population of students.
