To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland in Parliament assembled : the petition of the undersigned individuals forming the committee of a voluntary society, styling itself "The Society for the Mitigation and Gradual Abolition of Slavery Throughout the British Dominions" meeting in London on the behalf of themselves and on the behalf and by the authority of the other members of that society.
