Letter from the mayor of the town of Alexandria, in the District of Columbia, inclosino [!] sundry resolutions of the citizens of the town and county of Alexandria, expressive of their disapprobation of a motion now depending before the House, to recede to the states of Virginia & Maryland, respectively, the jurisdiction of such parts of the said District as are without the limits of the city of Washington.
