Electronic reproduction of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church collection, held at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The St. Mark's United Methodist Church is a Methodist Episcopal church for African Americans. The collection consists principally of printed matter, largely anniversary journals and programmes. It focuses on the years when Reverend John Hicks was pastor, and contains church programmes and programmes from services and special events, such as the Annual Debutante Cotillion, the Business and Professional Club, and church anniversaries.
