"Now in its' third year, this unique collaboration brings together students from Michigan State University's Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) to work with students in the university's College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). These groups enrolled in multiple university classes, then worked with Latino and Indigenous elementary students in Lansing, Michigan. Through this semester-long collaboration, the three groups collectively created a series of written stories and illustrations focusing on the experiences of Latino and Native American youth in Michigan. Each year, Nuestros Cuentos, Our Stories, Gadabaajiimowinaanin publishes these moving stories and artworkds in a beautifully illustrated book, like this year's Somos Familia.
