The African Queen / Horizon Pictures presents a Horizon-Romulus production ; adapted for the screen by James Agee & John Huston ; produced by Sam Spiegel ; directed by John Huston.

A gin-loving river trader rescues an abandoned missionary with his boat, the African Queen. The rescue becomes an adventure as they escape the dangers of nature and of World War I enemies while they fall in love.
