The earth is in great danger as a mysterious force is draining nitrogen from the earth's atmostphere. Flash Gordon, Dale Arden, and Dr. Zarkov fly a rocketship to Mars to avert impending disaster. There they discover that Ming the Merciless is behind the trouble.
