Choreographer and dancer David Parsons shows how dances can begin with simple everyday movements. Young conductor JoAnn Falletta shows how an orchestras can use layers of sound to create music. Jazz pianist Allen Toussaint composes a melody on the piano and then records it in a studio. Bobby McFerrin lends a hand. Jazz percussionist, Max Roach brings accent to music using layered and funky rhythmns to create a beat.
