Summary:
A dramatization of the John Cheever story whose protagonist is one of the well-to-do commuters in the Shady Hill stories, Cash Bentley. At the age of 40, Cash is a slightly inebriated suburbanite, confronting his mid-life crisis by hurdling over his host's furniture, hoping to recapture the athletic prowess that made him a track star in his college days. His embarrassed wife is unable to halt her husband's obsessive ritual, as he tries to hang on to his fading youth and vigor, and prove he's still a man and an athlete.
