The seventh DVD contains two films, also commissioned by the War Department, to provide information for the American public about the battles at Pearl Harbor and in the Pacific theater. The final DVD in the collection contains four short films that were used after World War II to discuss the threat of an atomic attack and the consequences of the nuclear bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These films were produced with the intent of informing the American public about the conflicts abroad but how much of these works were informative and how much were tools of propaganda? The accompanying book discusses the impact of these films on the American war effort and the legacy that these films have left on the history of World War II.
