Biographical Sketch:
Alberto Flores was born and raised in Bay City Michigan and retired from a career in community service in which he worked for nonprofit organizations and state government, lastly as Director of Community Relations for the Michigan Civil Rights Commission. He was a co-founder of the MHSCC as well as other Chicano and Latino advocacy organizations in mid-Michigan including the Bay County American GI Forum. The national AGIF is a congressionally chartered Latino veterans and civil rights organization. The MHSCC was an advocacy organization for Latino senior citizens and organizations servicing the Latino aged in the State of Michigan.
