Summary:
The collection consists of photocopies of pages from the Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) yearbook, the Wolverine, from 1939, 1940, 1941 and 1942 that have handwritten dates of death for some students. Also included is play information from football games. The dates of the games are unknown but they are from a MSC vs. Wayne game and a MSC vs. University of Michigan game. There are also sheets that list the positions of the players.

Biographical Sketch:
Lillian Margaret Ross was born February 23, 1920 in Lansing, Michigan to William H. and Rachel C. (Yoder) Ross. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1939. In 1942, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Michigan State College (now Michigan State University). While at Michigan State, Ross was the chair of the Sophomore Prom Committee, chair of the Senior Ball Committee, and on the staff of the Wolverine yearbook. From 1943 to 1945, Ross served in the U.S. Navy. She worked at the Michigan School for the Blind as a purchasing agent from 1945 to 1980. Ross died April 21, 2007.
