Subject of the massacre at the Mountain-Meadows, Utah Territory, in September, 1857, of one hundred and twenty men, women and children, who were from Arkansas / by Brevet Major James Henry Carleton, U. S. Army ; and report of the Hon. William C. Mitchell, relative to the seventeen surviving children who were brought back by the authorities of the U. S. after their parents and others, with whom they were emigrating, had been murdered.
