Material laid in: Two clipped newpaper articles reviewing children's lectures by Sir Frederick Bridge about the street cries of Shakespeare's London (one clipping inscribed "Times, 7/1/79 [?]"; the other also evidently from a UK paper). Two clippings from an unidentified 20th-century UK bookseller's catalog advertising the sale of two Andrew Tuer books, including this one (though evidently not this copy) and his "History of the horn book". All laid-in materials removed and now available in MSS 466. |
